Guidehouse — Senior Data Scientist
Developed a climate risk resilience tool to prioritize utility asset investments across both transmission and distribution infrastructure, built linear regression models to evaluate demand response program impacts and created a linear optimization model to decide best pathways for a low-carbon energy system.
Onda Surf — Lead Forecaster
I built and maintain the backend code which pulls, processes, and calibrates the surf forecast for each spot on the Onda Surf mobile application. We use nearshore physics like shoaling and refraction paired with local bathymetry and spot-specific swell windows to develop accurate forecasts in the northern california area.
